Contact a Realtor in your current area for a market analysis on your present home. Contact a Realtor in the new area you plan to move to, give the information about what type home you will be looking for there and ask them to send you information on the homes that meet your criteria.

Spring is here and it is time to get those weeds out of your flower beds.

Here is an easy way to tell. Grasp the stem lightly between the thumb and index finger, pull gently. If it comes up out of the ground it is a flower.

If you have recently purchased a home in an area that offers homestead exemption on your property taxes, you should make yourself a reminder to go to your local tax office as soon as possible and file for the exemption. Also while you are there check and see if your county offers any additional exemptions for senior citizens, retirees, or low income families. Many do offer these additional exemptions and they are well worth the time and effort to file the necessary forms to get them if you qualify.
